       The seminar will focus on marketing the Craft experience of Cork in 2011 and is entitled ‘Speaking of Craft…’

Topics will include:

* The current health of the craft market both at home and abroad.
* Building an enabling environment for artisan producers in Cork
* Growing craft businesses through domestic or export sales
* Developing a spirit of entrepreneurship among craftmakers. 
* Developing the ‘Irish craft experience’ for tourism
* How I did it!  An inspirational but real story from a ‘successful’ Craft-maker  

Followed by Cork Craft Month Launch at 6 for 6.30pm

The New Designers Fashion Show   The Cork Craft Month Fashion Show will feature hand-picked collections from emerging fashion-design graduates as well as established designers together with stunning work from Cork’s most talented textile, jewellery and accessory creators.  Come for the clothes but linger for the delicious refreshments and visual surprises that are planned for the night!
